HOUT BAY AREA INFORMATION
This beach destination, named after the wooded
slopes surrounding the wide, fine sandy beach, is a bay
sheltered by towering mountains. Originally a busy
fishing village it has grown into a popular beach
holiday destination for young families and laid back

Stroll around the Hout Bay Marina and watch the
colourful fishing boats sail in. A great favourite with
surfers for its huge off-shore surfing waves near Seal
