Townhouse 61 is a three-level property on a small street in the heart of De Waterkant. It has been tastefully renovated in a contemporary style with great attention to detail. Original fireplaces have been preserved which add plenty of character. Polished wooden stairs lead up from the entrance level to the open plan-living area where you can relax and watch the satellite TV.

To the right side of the living area is the dining and kitchen area. The dining table comfortably seats six guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required for self catering including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The three double bedrooms en-suite bathrooms; each decorated in a fresh modern style. There are air-conditioning units in each bedroom. The beds are very comfortable made up with linen of the highest quality. The bathrooms each have a shower, hand basin and toilet.

The first of the spacious bedrooms is located on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom. The second and third en-suite bedrooms are located on the second floor. 

There is plenty of room for entertaining as there are two separate areas in addition to the living area. One is a balcony off the second floor bedroom area which has an outdoor table and chairs and a Jacuzzi. This overlooks a small park on the slopes of Signal Hill.

In addition there is the superb roof deck which is reached by a flight of steps. This has an outdoor table, chairs and sun-loungers for soaking up the sun. Quite the most outstanding future of this roof deck are the incredible views across Table Mountain, the city and the harbour area.

This property is ideally suited for a group of friends coming to visit Cape Town and the surrounding areas or business people attending meetings in the central business district or at Cape Town International Convention Centre. It is in walking distance of the new 2010 World Cup Football Stadium.

Important Note: We do not recommend the Townhouse for young children due to the open sided roof deck.
