CLIFTON AREA INFORMATION

Luxury living in this most exclusive suburb. Ultra
modern mansions and designer apartment complexes perch
on the steep hills with steps leading down to the famous
Clifton beaches. The cliffs provide some of the most sheltered areas on the Atlantic
Seaboard. This is
the best place for tanning and romantic sunset walks.
The white sandy coves are favoured by the
privileged few who come to enjoy the sun and exceptional
sea views. There is plenty of action for surfers with
long waves providing great opportunities to ride the
white horses. These beaches are ideal for the young and beautiful, honeymooners,
serious sun worshippers and surfers. Fourth Beach
is the favourite for families as it is close to parking
facilities. Steps lead down from the main road to the
other beaches. Third, Second and First beach are for the
active, young and trendy. The surfers prefer surfing off
First and Second beach. The fortunate visitors
staying at some of the exclusive apartments and
bungalows can step directly onto the beaches.
